Will the fudge melt during shipment, especially if I'm sending it to a warm climate?

No. The fudge will not melt during shipping. Our fudge is cooked thoroughly so is not susceptible to melting like many types of fudge. This means you can enjoy our fudge anywhere year-round without the concern of it melting. The only exceptions are the flavors containing layers of chocolate or white chocolate (Strawberry Fields Forever, Little Bit O'Heaven, and Snowy Moose) - in these flavors, the chocolate layers will likely melt in warmer climates.

Is your fudge overly sweet?

No. We don't use any corn syrup so it's not as sweet nor super-smooth as most fudge. Our fudge has a little bit of texture but it melts nicely in your mouth and is NOT grainy. It also is not sickly sweet. It has a complex flavor with a long finish and notes of coffee and caramel.

I have allergy concerns. What exactly does your fudge contain? Is the fudge gluten-free? Safe for nut allergies?

All flavors of fudge are gluten-free, except the whisky flavor (Scottish Whisky, Cabin Fever Maple Whisky, and Little bit O’ Heaven). 

All flavors of fudge contain dairy (milk and butter). 

All chocolate flavors are made with chocolate that contains Soy Lecithin (a soy product) but the rest do not contain any soy. 

Many flavors contain walnuts, pecans or peanuts and all flavors are made in the same facility. While we take precautions to avoid allergy contamination, but we cannot guarantee that any flavor is completely free of traces of nuts.

How long will the fudge last?

Well that depends on you! Joking aside, we date all orders with “Enjoy by” dates of 10 days from the day we ship it. If you would like the fudge to last longer than that, simply place in a sealed container and freeze. As long as the fudge is frozen immediately upon receipt, it can be stored in the freezer for up to 3 months without affecting the quality, taste or appearance.

What happens if my fudge dries out?

Simply trim off the outer edges of the fudge and the inside should be delicious. You can also melt it down into delicious fudge sauce - see recipe in FAQ's.

Can I make homemade fudge sauce with your fudge?

Absolutely! Simply heat on the stove with milk while stirring frequently. Use approximately 1/3 cup of milk for 1 lb of fudge. Cut fudge into small chunks for easier melting. Many flavors make excellent sauce, especially Belgian Chocolate, Pure Maple, Chocolate Raspberry and Chocolate Mint. Serves approximately 12 people.

How do you ship?

We ship our fudge all over the United States using USPS Priority Mail or Express Mail. We will ship your order within two business days and often within the first 24 hours, unless otherwise specified in your order. 

During busy holiday periods however, it may take slightly longer. The shipping time will usually vary between 1-3 business days depending on the shipping method selected and your shipment’s destination. If you need an order rushed for any reason, feel free to call us to ensure on time delivery is possible.

I received an email saying that my order has been shipped. What is the status of my order? When will it arrive?

Depending on your shipping location, it will arrive between 1 and 3 business days with standard Priority mail. If you chose Express mail, it should arrive the next day. If you would like a Tracking number, please Contact Us.

I would like the fudge to arrive on an exact day, is that possible? 

We ship USPS Priority Mail and they cannot guarantee arrival on an exact day unless you pay extra for Express Mail. You can however specify an “arrive by” date at checkout and we’ll make sure it arrives on or before the date. We can also write, “Do Not Open until X date” upon request.

I would like to send fudge as a gift. How will the recipient know who it’s from and will they see the price on it? 

Every order comes with a packing slip that shows the Billing Name and address. This slip will show what flavor(s) of fudge are being sent, but will not contain any pricing information.

I would like to enclose a gift message with my order, does that cost extra?

No, you can include a free gift message upon checkout that will be printed on the Packing Slip and will be highlighted for your gift recipient to easily read. You can also choose a greeting card to go with your order. In this case, we will carefully hand write your message inside the card.

If you did not specify a future “arrive by” date, your order should ship within 1-2 business days (except during busy holiday periods – where it can take longer). If you specified an “arrive by” date, your order will ship 2-4 business days in advance of that date to ensure it arrives in time.

You likely specified that you wanted your order to arrive on a future date (more than several business days) from the date you ordered. We organize our fudge orders based on when customers would like them shipped and sometimes need to intentionally delay an order to ensure it arrives just before a birthday or holiday.
