A HUGE thank you to everyone who shared their sweet memories of their mothers with us! We loved reading every single one. To thank all of you for entering to win, we'd like to give you $5 off a Mother's Day gift basket with the code, "MEMORY".

The winning memory with a whopping 22 likes came from Debbie Tholin who shared the below memory.

"I lost my Mother to cancer in 2005, she was only 66 years old. She was also my best friend. I am her only daughter. Our birthdays are 2 days apart. Hers is March 30 and mine is April 1. My Mother was always doing wonderful little things for me. Buying little gifts. She was always so proud of me, no matter what. Every year we celebrated our birthdays together. She would unwrap whatever gift I bought for her, so delicately, saving the ribbons and tissue paper. I enjoyed watching her eyes sparkle and the huge smile on her face. And every year on MY birthday, I would take my Mother one single long stemmed rose, tucked in a vase, surrounded by baby's breath. When I started that tradition, she would ask me, "why are you giving this to me, on your special day??". I told her, " Because my dear Mother. Without you, I would never be." It brought tears to her eyes and she spoke, softly, saying how blessed she was to have such a wonderful daughter. There wasn't anything I wouldn't do for my Mother. When she went thru chemo and radiation, I was there by her side, every step of the way. And when she came home under Hospice care, I was there, every single day. And when she took her last breath, I was there, and I had to let her go. But I was the last person to kiss her forehead, the last person she spoke with and the last person that held her hand. I have her with me now, to this very day. She chose cremation and she wished for me to have her ashes. My Dad allowed me to have them. And our rose tradition?? It continues. Only I place the rise beside her urn. She is not here to enjoy this wonderful gift, should she (we) have won. But I enjoy sharing stories of this wonderful lady! I miss her more than words can say. She was the best."

This is the winning picture which came from: @mynameiskellbell A big happy birthday to my Mum! I have so many things I could say about my mum and so many great memories. She has been there for me when I would have fights with friends, being at all of my field hockey games I had through out high school, she is someone I have always looked up to, someone I have dinner with when we are home alone, and someone who has been there for me when I needed help with homework or just doing a craft with her(because she always makes Christmas ornaments for everyone) or baking for so many people around Christmas. Love you so much
